if i was strictly sepaking of acting, her growth seems stagnated...like i was expecting ETT to be like THE role where she gets to show off her chops with all the hype n stuff n with her best bud kabir khan directing it...but the promos show her giving exactly 3 expressions,...cute, serious n sexy...maybe my opinion will change once i see the movie...but for now atleast...thts wht i feel...

And as far as her popularity goes, only a fool would question it...im looking forward to her future releases with all the three khans...

although i doubt yash chopra hired her to do the acting...i think shes just playing a fairy princess hopeless romantic in the film with anushka doing all the performing...so im pretty sure kat's job is to look pretty and "yash chopra heroine"ish in the film...

Yash chopra has a history of giving paper bag roles to his leads and more interesting, fleshed out, sympathetic supporting roles

He usually hires popular leads to sell the product...and gets the supporting (sometimes stronger) actors to do the actual "performing"...im guessing thts the case now aswell...but i might be wrong...lets wait for the trailer 2moz...

karisma in DTPH and rani in Veer Zaara have proved it. Preity despite being lead and having all the songs had little to perform infront of rani, Same with karisma, even though madhuri was not over-shadowed totally like preity was due to rani but it was karisma being the most praised at the end.

I guess both ETT and Yrf next would not have much on the acting side from her. YRF is very hyped but have little for their female leads. They are presented like a dream, no doubt about that though!
