I also loved her in namaste London which came very early in her career! also liked her performance in new York and Rajneeti

D9dn't the King of box-office at his peak also give duds like Kambhakt Ishq and Tashan and Chandi chok to China with other actresses? Akshay needed Katrina as much as she needed him.

i agree again!

Namaste London had more role for kat than akki. Now when other actresses do that, they are praised but when it comes to kat its not taken in consideration. Also in SIK, she was the highlight of the promotions, her presence in the movie did make a heavy contribution in its becoming a hit, it was not akshay alone.

😊 i liked her too in NL. She was the hero of the movie! It was jasmit/jess from start to the end. A very rare thing to see a female having such an important role in an akki movie

Yes he did, but just because he gave duds, doesnt mean he was unsuccessful without Katrina (two of his movies with Katrina were duds - Humko Deewana Kar gayee and DDD). He was successful enough with hit films at that time (Aitraaz, Bhagam Bhag, Garam Masala, Phir Hera Pheri, Hey Baby Bhool Balaiya etc etc) and NONE of these movies had Katrina in them.

coming to what you say i think you took it wrong. No one is questioning akki's power here and its not being implied that he cant deliver hits without kat at all. Whats being said is that the movie kat starred in with akki were hits due to them both. Same way in aitraaz priyanka contributed equally and the other ones you listed. Even if a NL or a SIK is picked ,keeping aside her acting, those movies also worked because of her presence, Her songs teri ore and jee karde had masses going insane over her. Her makeover in NL was the talk of the town much before NL released. In a nut shell, kat's popularity cant be totally credited to akki as she starred with him in her initial movies.
