its not about whether the movie is a superhit or not.

Its about showing the world that you are worth calling an "actress".

Not everything is about playing your cards well... today, everyone calls Katrina an intelligent actress, but no one dares calling her a good actress. She's a better star than any of the current actresses though, and no one can take that away from her.

At the same time, Konkona Sen Sharma is not claimed to be a fantastic star, but no one denies that she's a good actress. THAT can't be taken away from her.

And yes, Barfi is VERY likely to be a flop.

but, given Priyanka does a good job, the kind of appreciation she will be getting

Asin will NEVER get, as long as she does the kinds of roles she's been doing so far.

Because honestly, she's LUCKY that people even remember that she existed in Housefull 2.

maybe she knew she wont be able to do those roles which actually requires some acting... thats why she refused.

South Industry has moved on very well without Asin. They dont want her there. So she can probably get married to Neil and settle down without a sin.

She indeed got poor choices in roles/script for while now. Well I am glad priyanka's getting to play the role she's playing in Barfi because it looks amazing.
