At long last, Shahid Kapoor has spoken about ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor. Frankly, we had lost interest in that long-dead relationship, but there still seem to be certain people on Shahid's side who believe that if he talks about it, Teri Meri Kahaani will get more publicity. And TMK needs all the help it can get at the BO.

Anyway, Shahid claimed in an interview that when he was in a relationship with Bebo, he was totally focused on her. He gave so much time and attention to his relationship that it affected his behavior with his co-stars and they began to think he was arrogant. Sasha insists he was just being the perfect boyfriend for the four and a half years he was with his Jab We Met co-star. Since that didn't work out, he is never going to be the perfect boyfriend for any of his future girlfriends. Isn't that being wonderfully arrogant? You are deliberately raking up past events, blaming your ex-girlfriend – who is ready to wed someone else – during a promotional activity for your latest movie. If that isn't being mean, what is? Sure, Kareena has often hinted that she broke up with Shahid because he cheated on her. But if the Kapoor lad wanted to refute the Kapoor gal, he should have spoken up earlier, not when he is busy finding ways to promote his film. If Shahid was that desperate for TMK to become a hit, he should have just admitted to his feelings for Priyanka Chopra instead. Now THAT would have been much more interesting, don't you think?
