shahid thinks he is d 'Hearthrob'...(an illusion he gets by seeing his rabid fangirls all over),he imagines himself to b a nice actor,performer...in short he thinks he is d complete package...

i pity his gfs whom he expects to live a hermits life...

i dnt think his arrogancy was becoz of bebo..or anyone...in general he thinks hes d uncrowned bollywood king...many a times he mite think uski movies itni pit ti kaise hai...bt dis is one eternal truth which doesnt seem to b gng in his head...
