tsk tsk... why should only one member provide you with autographed merchandise...? seems like the whole forum is familiar with everything about a celeb's family, doesn't it...

maybe her family thinks vulgarity is okay, as long as its within context... who knows...

however, vulgarity is vulgarity... no shame in calling 'the dirty picture' dirty... that is by default anyways... 😉

I love how in this forum, hypocrisy is as widely practiced as religion 😆

so its fine, if Akshay Kumar gyrates his buttocks in unison with some scantily-clad white chick's same assets, or when Salman Khan does the tootsy-flapping dance step,

but when a girl does the same thing, while playing the role of a soft port actress, she's accused of being immoral, of having no sense of vulgarity is 😆

Bollywood and its audience seems to breed on regression day by day. Yay x]

rachna, hypocrisy lessons are important for those who have different rules just because the celebs change... 😛

you're right though about the hypocrisy... people think it's okay to say negatives (however, illogical) just because it's a celeb they dont' like and it's all fun... logic really does goes out the window... why the outcry when your favourite is subjected to the same...? that i really haven't been able to answer... if you do, pm me...! 😉

otherwise, lecturing others on what is a valid point and what is invalid - holds very little water...

People, keep your comments sane. Post your reasons as to, why you feel TDP should be considered vulgar OR why you feel TDP shouldn't be considered vulgar.

Do not write judgemental statements about the actress, her family or the audience. You don't know anything about them for sure, so don't venture in that territory. Give your opinion, defend your opinion against cross questioning and leave it at that.

well, even if i consider gender, then vidya is not the only female that is subjugated to such response... so why the outcry, i still ask... 😛😛

this applies to many a posts... kabhi kabhi i would like to see your notes about those 'judgemental statements' as well...

and it's pretty obvious, why TDP is considered vulgar... the picture is titled, the DIRTY picture afterall... no matter how you slice it... 😉

and thank you for stating people don't know much about the families of the celebs... that i think applies to all the celebs, not just vidya... 😛

I can't answer that question, because I'm pretty sure I don't do it myself =) Pehle toh Vidya isn't my favorite, and I haven't blamed any other actress of being immoral for doing skin show.

^^ What are you talking about? have I ever told that as "decent" .. NO right? But for me TDP was very vulgar, and way more than any Akshay or Salman's movies till now. And none of Salman's recent movies have been "vulgar" like the TDP. Just because Vidya was portraying a soft-po*n actress, it makes it all okay? naah for me it doesn't. Bollywood should have its limits and know what they can show, and what they can't.
