People act like Aamir is some super actor. He's average at best and doesn't excel at any role. He just suits every role and chooses his scripts well.

Aamir, 6 yrs in wasn't what he is today either. He was doing movies like Aatank hi Aatank and even his good films like Akele Hum Akele Tum didn't have any viewers.

Abhay has a niche and good fan base which can only grow. He's destined for big things.

Ranbir is the next SRK. Don't see a Salman in any of these guys though.
None of these guys have DUM to be a mass favorite.

Aamir as well as other senior stars have massive flops, who doesn't have... But 1 thing i would like 2 say about AAMIR KHAN...

Aamir Khan post Rang De Basanti has not even 1 FLOP. All 5 films Super Duper HITS. 2 ATBBs.

He is The SOLE REASON for 3 IDIOTS crossing 200 Crore, Also he was the 1st star to make a Century.

His fanbase is not limited to Aamir fans... We Salman fans, Even SRK Fans, Every other Actor Fans one or the other like his movies... 3 IDIOTS can't have crossed 202 crore just on Aamir fans, it had the support of other fans also...

This kind of thing ABHAY DEOL can't even imagine in Dreams.

Re-read the post and don't take things out of context.

Aamir Khan, 6 years in, wasn't the superstar he is today. It took him 14 years and the multiplex boom to get these kind of openings. Not to mention the huge media frenzy on Lagaan and the Oscars.

Abhay is already working with the cream, Prakash Jha, Dibakar, Zoya Akhtar,Dev Benegal, Anurag Kashyap . I would rather believe in there instincts than your's Omkara.
