Shahid,Neha,Bipasha,sonakshi,Anil @IIFA Press meet

IIFA put together a press conference in Mumbai this evening to announce the performers for this year's awards ceremony to be held in Singapore. Present at the event were Anil Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Prabhu Deva, Mika, Sonakshi Sinha and Neha Dhupia. It was a super fun event, and we have some exclusive pictures, videos and details just for you. Shahid Kapoor will be hosting and performing at this year's IIFA, and he said that one of the things he's most excited about is being choreographed by Prabhu Deva. Prabhu Deva will be choreographing all of this year's performances, and that's got to be something to look forward to considering what a great dancer he is – and this will be the first time he does anything of the sort. They gave us a little teaser by doing a small, impromptu dance on stage:

Also, Shahid and Bipasha seemed to be enjoying each other's company. I don't know if I'd go as far as to say they're seeing each other, but they do seem to at least be friends. Before they were called on stage, they were having fun chatting and would often break out into smiles.

There was also one point where Shahid gestured at something and I'm pretty sure I read Bipasha's lips – she seemed to be laughingly saying, "Are you mad? Don't be stupid!" Hahaha who knows what that conversation was about (or if my lip reading skills were waaay off), but you bet I wanna know!

I also found Mika absolutely hilarious. I got such a kick out of him talking about having done enough shows and made enough money, and now just wanting an award! He even sang two lines of Humse Pyar Kar Le Tu, a new song on the album of Teri Meri Kahaani. Shahid got on stage then and the two had some fun striking a pose, check it out:

Anil Kapoor talked about his association with IIFA as well, saying they approached him at their inception 12 years ago to attend the ceremony. He refused then and figured that a refusal meant he wouldn't get an award, since it generally happens that the award is not given to those who abscond. However, IIFA still gave him two awards that year and he was so surprised that he decided he had to be a part of the family from now on. Except… ever since he started an association with them, they haven't given him an award! *lol*

Neha Dhupia said that she's very excited, since this is her first time performing at IIFA!
