i agree...everyone goes through the same...in all countries...everyone goes through the same...in singapore aamir-salman took nearly 2-3 hrs for their immigration clearance...even though those officers knew they were big celebrities...still they never compromise...what was the best part that both khans never complaint...n follow the rules of the regulations of the country...

if a visitor is in another country...they have to follow the laws n orders of the country...not the country follow the law n order of the visitor...n i feel india government should not interfere in US laws n regulations bcz they know what they are doing unlike them...US doesn't care a damn whether he is celebrity or not...

well for someone asking abt beckham...well football players when arriving in any part of the world...as a visitor or a tournament...the immigrations officer will have a email...they are arriving in such times n the landing of the aircrafts...so they are escorted...but even for that...they have to go through all the checks...of security n green signals from the officials of immigration...n of course national police...they come from special VIP gates...but then they too go through the same process...if suspected more than 6hrs detention...if suspicion confirmed jail n to be produce in court...no embassy can safe them...not even his country...that is how practice in singapore...thas the rules in my country...

minister...presidents...football players...rich man...all go through VIP gates but they are checked by the immigrations officers n national police...passport checking officers...

so there is no excuse...even brunei sultan has his own private jet...goes through VIP gate...but is checked strictly...

once i have checked a malaysian minister...i forgot his name...he was the minister of finance...n he was checked by me...we did a 100% checking on him...he had a small scissors in his bag...which is not allowed in the aircraft...so we had to confiscate it from him...took down his boarding pass number...passport number...his name...the flight number...the country he is going...for reference to hand it over to the immigrations officers n national police

Waiting in queue is different than going thorugh detained

well different country have different way to apply those rules...in singapore they believe in waiting in the queue...no mattter how big shot u are...if any suspicion the immigration officer will call the national police of singapore to verify more...though yes...the aim is one safety of the country...US they believe in detention if suspected...or to have more information abt the visitor...my friend whose name ends with a surname khan too while going to US...was detained in newark airport for almost 3 hrs...though he was upset...but he never complaint as he knows that they were doing their job...its not easy to get a entry to US...after what happened in 9/11...whatever US law are doing is their duty...even if i am detained...i have no complaints or make a fuss abt it...as i know its for safety of the people...

this rules doesn't apply to only srk...it is applies to everyone...since srk is a celebrity...it became a headline news...which is funny...everyone goes through the same...even salman-aamir...i heard even shahid did go through...but it never came as a headline...even the more big shots than srk too went through the process...its a common thing...do it n leave the airport...its as simple as that...you know...you done nothing wrong...than why the fear or loosing the cool...such emotions are given by those people who have done wrong...n wants to escapes...this article is really funny...its nothing wrong to be detained when u know u done nothing wrong...

I am not saying that He is right or wrong or he is complaining. Going through Security checking is different than going through immigration. During Security checking they just check ur bags nd u if they found small scissors told u to take it off and they take all inforamtion about u otherwise not allowed in the aircraft. During immigration they check ur passport nd docs if they found something wrong than u go through detained. I have Friend, she is international students and I am a us citizen every summer we come to india, when we come back to us i pass all immigration bc i have us passport, her last name is Khan nd most of time she had faced detained. there is nothing wrong to be detaied when u know u done nothing wrong, but during that 3-4 hrs u r proving them is that u done nothing wrong is wrong.

well next time if tom cruise angelina jolie brat pitt cloney,come to india they should make them take their shoes of and detain them about 4 hours and see if the what they will say

it has nothing to do with security.they have a name list of names like Khan, Hassan, Ali, Shah,Ibrahim,etc. and if your name contains one of those than you are in trouble that s the truth.

if they do that to a non public figure is okey and they have the right to protect they rs country but to do that to Shahrukh Khan is unnecessary and provoking to be honest with you.

i get that if you are a actor or film maker America is the promise land to be. but for all muslims with entertainer backgrounds it will be the right to boy-cut it.the western actors are well come to Turkey,Dubai,Bahrain,Oman,Qatar,Kuwait with respect.
