If he'd put some distance between this man (and Karan) and himself oh say 7 years ago it might have done SRK some PR favors.

Happening now though, just emphasizes how much his old world is imploding and he's too damned old, with too much bad press behind him to salvage it.

The whole point is that for a man so widely thought to be not only privately opportunistic (which looks very true) but also very dismissively manipulative in the public sphere as well with his refusal to accept that the public has a brain and can be----GASP! As smart as he is---has pushed SRK into a corner where his only choice is to appear as either a lying cheat, OR, a cheating liar.

Everyone from the audience to those in his closest orbit is beginning to feel used and despised.

Yeah, sure Bollywood is full of users, okay, fair enough but SRK makes a habit of NOT keeping his business relationships on a strictly business footing which leads people to expect something a little bit more.

When it's not forthcoming, they can grow to loathe him for what they perceive as deceit.

Arjun Rampal has just recently made a public admission of alcoholism as well. I think it was in the Times.

The more I see the more impressed I am with Gauri's ability to distance herself.

Keep watching. As I said long ago, as SRK gets older and his market value decreases it'll be harder and harder to keep this ugly stuff under wraps.

Arjun was just as much an opportunist as srk...and he benefited more too, in this case.

Just because you benefit more doesn't mean you feel less. My suspicion is that SRK is the one with the greater ability to compartmentalize his feelings and cut people when

the thrill wears off.

Arjun seemed seriously crushed on SRK with little to no real interest in "acting" but if the chance pops up---why the hell not? It's good money and we ALL of us can use good money.

He married, and kept SRK as a top priority in his life when dude could have made a decent living as a model withOUT having to marry some woman.

SRK tries to pay people back with career choices. If that's what he has to give fine, but when a person really likes you---REALLY likes you---they'll want more than a job opportunity.

if it wasnt for SRK AR would never grab OSO,Don1 ,Ra.one ...

he is out from BW I guess.

His business will keep him going though.

Whereas SRK is loosing frns like no tomm.

he has a terrible sense of business.

@YKM: Actually that can very well be the case of Arjun "suffering" more emotionally but then at the end of it all, what we see it SRK is loosing it big time...since he got more power, the loss is bigger. Arjun was never really gossiped about for being gay as much as srk ...so his image is still pretty much what it had been. However, srk went from being gay to a cheater as per the media...

@Rits: I see...damn, I feel embarrassed for asking such a stupid question. :(
