^^The film is looking good..I watched the trailer in the theater ..Iit was impactful..

The numbers wont be disappointing..LAK did 8 +..AV should do more this friday

Ahhh, I hope you're right!

Its single screens that will decide this film's fate, coz its budget is so high. Multiplexes alone cant do anything.

They need to plaster Kareena's mujra all over the single screens, along with saif's action packed stills. Hated the first poster with Saifu!

its a shame that kareena has not been promoted at all! all i saw of her is in the mujra track which is also not completely her own, mariyam girl is stealing the thunder there! she is not even on the main poster, even a priyanka gets space on the main poster with srk in don2 but she doesnt here!

wonder what kind of a promotional strategy this is coz lets be realistic, the producers, saif and the entire team should acknowledge that kareena is the bigger star here and she should have been promoted more even if her role ends up being of 15 minutes only!

^^^There can be 2 reasons:

-Kareena has a really small part and SAK wants to VERY honest about the lack of importance of her role in the movie

-SAK wants to prove he is a big star and doesnt need Kareena to sell his film.

Third reason was divulged by Sriram. He said they do not wanna reveal much about Kareena's character.

So they launched solo posters of hers. But problem is that she's not featured too heavily in the promos.

Another possibility is SAK knows how Kareena loves going blah blah blah and hogging all the limelight. So he keeping her away so that she doesnt claim later that the movie was a hit because of her.

And finally this thread could be DG conspiracy. She picked up some random research and created this thread so that if AV flops or is average she has reasons ready like bad promos, bad songs, bad item girls or lack of desi vibe. All of which would be provided by members themselves!😆

PS: PST and Kahaani have proved that movies can work without pre release buzz.

Agent Vinod Has Lukewarm Advance At Single Screens

Wednesday 21st March 2012 11.30 IST

The advance booking of Agent Vinod opened at most single screens on Monday and the results were not so good. The Delhi single screens like Delite, Vishal, etc which are amongst the best collecting single screens in the country had an advance 40-50% less than Don 2. Comparing with the other big screen count releases of the past six months Bodyguard and Agneepath it was 70-80% less but these were more single screen friendly films and holiday releases.

The multiplex advance at most multiplexes will start today and is likely to see better results.

Agent Vinod is likely to have a a screen count in India of around 2500 which is amongst the top five to six of all time and by far the biggest Saif Ali Khan release.
