well, I have not gone through the whole thing. but what I liked was Tanya replies there, and also there was others, being swapped. but, ya I do get that some might be using to trash some members.

@sheee good you here, just had not seen you, and did not want you top disappear like last time.

@maddy, moderation is the key, and best way to go. totally, taking away something will just make members crave it more, and hence make some members lose interest here. Yet, hope people come up with new and innovative ideas. I personally just ignore what I don't like.

A big thank you to everyone for the feedback and suggestions. We appreciate all your comments:)

There were some great suggestions. Instead of completely eliminating them, many of you suggested limiting the number of polls per week. Moderation is the key. That would bring in a fair balance here. To start with lets go with about 4-5 a week. That way it won't crowd the forum and the ones interested in the polls have their share of them.

Hopefully this would work for everyone. Any more concerns, we are just a PM away:)

PS: The intention of this thread was to get a general consensus on the comparison polls. Generally comparison threads are not allowed in India Forums. Its upto the sections DT to take a final call on that. Before we did that we wanted to get members perspective on that. It wasn't abt any individual. It was abt the POLLS.

Clearing up the confusion. Some of you were wondering if it was per member. It was a great idea, but i guess its hard to keep track of each member and how many he/she posted each week.

This is 4-5 polls in a week irrespective of who is posting. This way, the ones interested have a good number in a week and the ones not interested won't feel that the forum is getting crowded with the polls.
