yes she can but it cannot be soon because a movie like TDP which had such a strong script all elements of a typical commercial bollywood movie is very rare to find .Bollywood has the habit of follow the trends more than creating one .when Salman's south remake movies became blockbusters everyone started following the same path because at the end of day its a business everyone wants success and money .Movie like TDP was quite an experimental risk as none of the biopics earlier has tasted such success neither they were commercial .Vidya can top TDP if she has such a strong script ,storyline and typical elemenst of the commercial movie and a producer who can back such script

Vidya doesn't NEED an A-lister. She's ruling without them. 😃

And barring Ishqiya, ALL of Vidya's films fall under the commercial bracket.Just because they have performance oriented roles and strong scripts doesn't mean they're not commercial.

the problem is we have a low minded society in bollywood with a large chunk of audiences which will never support vidya's skills...they just want her to do what other heroines do...but there is no need...Look at Naseeruddin Shah, he is not a great star in the industry but the actor has shined over the years...vidya can follow the same route...look at shabana azmi and smita patil, these women were both commercially and parallely successful but now times have changed...

The films that flop for Vidya are all short roles. I don't think Vidya was ever a flop actress she just wasn't getting the kind of roles that are meant for her like a Kahaani, Ishqiya or a Dirty Picture.

I thought she was boring in Paa and NOKJ.
