Prateiks a nice different kind of actor, the songs are nice and well choreographed;
definitely a movie for the younger crowd (from the promos)
but somehow i dont think its going to click.
I think Tere Naal Luv Ho gaya *riteish and gen will be a hit as will London Paris New York

The Telugu ending was such garbage. The whole movie lost its point if it ends on a fluffy happy note - the tamil ending was done perfectly.

Though the south versions were hits, its that kind of a movie which will appeal to a section of the crowd - especially the ones who are/ were/ will be in love...There's nothing new, story-wise and it is, to a certain extent predictable - boy meets girl, falls in love, pursues her relentlessly, finally she agrees, they go out for sometime, problems crop up and then the climax...But what really worked for the movie down south, is its almost realistic treatment, good performances and brilliant music by ARR.

Of course, we might end up having a totally different experience with EDT, in terms of acting, cast and all that. However, considering that the base story is pretty much the same, I'd say watch without any expectations.

agree!
the telugu version didn't cut it for me at all.. it was just too Suraj Barjatya-ed
and the actors didn't do much of a great job, Nagarjuna's kid wasn't much to bring home, and the Samantha and her facial expressions, mehhh.

I'm intrigued as to what the Hindi ending would be like but I feel that Poppy is right with her prediction 😆

Its a love story but its kind of realistic coz the heroine flip flops all the time. she is conflicted between her love and loyalty to parents so she keeps changing her mind...
so whats going to happen
I loved simbu and trisha in the tamil version hope the hindi one does justice

Oh I've seen this Tamil movie, It's 'Will You Cross the Skies for Me?' or something like that right, with Trisha?

It was a good movie but the ending was a shock to me. It was actually very realistic and I liked that, although a part of me yearned for a happy ending. Trisha looked beautiful in that film and the songs were good too.

I guess I won't watch the Hindi version. I always get disappointed when I watch Hindi remakes of South films.

Which actors career would be different if you reverse their timing?

How would some 2000’s actors career would be like if they debuted today and if this generation actors debuted during 2000’s. I honestly think...
