It was a good movie but the ending was a shock to me. It was actually very realistic and I liked that, although a part of me yearned for a happy ending. Trisha looked beautiful in that film and the songs were good too.

I guess I won't watch the Hindi version. I always get disappointed when I watch Hindi remakes of South films.

Will You Cross the Skies for Me is the literal translation of VInnaithaandi varuvaaya...

u got it

im not watching the hindi version for now..,
they already ruined one song for me..dost hai hum...with all the rapping

The Tamil version worked for many reasons...the treatment, music, acting, cinematography, ending...to say the very least. Let me then preface what I am about to say next by stating that I am NOT a Simbu fan...not at all. The Tamil version of EDT is the only movie of his I have seen. But, I thought he was fabulous in the movie...he brought this brashness to the character that I did not see in the Telugu versions of the songs I have seen. Pratheik seems to also lack that in EDT's promos. Plus...AJ has not impressed me yet in them either. I think a rakish brash boldness is needed for the hero of this story...a cutie pie will not cut it! All that said, I will still watch the movie.

from the promos, it seems like tehy've tried to hella hero-fy Prateek and sexify Amy Jackson

in VV, they both looked so damn simple, and so good. They really played it down and I feel like that is one of the best things about the movie..

hmmm I dunno =/ this movie isn't a very Bollywoody movie IMO

I wish Ranveer had been the choice for this movie. I am hoping Pratheik proves me wrong by wow-ing everybody in this role.

^^^Yep...even I think Ranveer would have been a better choice. On another note we REALLY need some good young male leads in BW. It always comes down to Imran or Ranbir.

Imran is definitely improving..
Prateik sucks in the promos.. his dialogue delivery is bad.. plain bad.. i hope he does justice to the serious/emotional scenes too..
they ruined all the songs.. Kannukul Kannai was one of the fav..

Which actors career would be different if you reverse their timing?

How would some 2000’s actors career would be like if they debuted today and if this generation actors debuted during 2000’s. I honestly think...
