It's not her fault that there just aren't that many meaty roles out there for actresses, especially not in commercial films.

She's done well with the solid roles she's been given but if she waits for strong, well written, performance driven parts she'll have a long wait in this world of pointless eye candy parts.

In order to keep working she has to take the jobs available.

It's less her fault than the industry's

Her role in Don 2 was pretty okay.. In Agneepath her performance was so good in terms of what she was given.. I wouldn't call it meaningless.

Why look at the bad ones? Look at the good ones like SKM, and probs Agneepath. I liked Don 2 too :)

This news got published today only. I am reading it from your post only. Before that news abt Priyanka doing Kjo movie were there on twitter.In fact , I myself was shocked to learn cause Karan and Gauri being friends, I don't think he will sign her now or for that matter even Hrithik after Krrish 3 is over. Her role there also will be small. Who knows they might give Kangana and the other model more screen space than her
