Kareena Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan are slated to act in Ram Gopal Varma's film, Time Machine. While sources in the Factory have confirmed the news, Varma is being tight-lipped about it.

To be directed and produced by Varma himself, the film is slated to be released early next year. Kareena and Khan will also be seen in Farhan Akhtar's Don. For Kareena, it would be just a cameo in the film.

But coming back to Varma, he had announced the Time Machine project almost a year ago. However, going by Varma's track record of making empty announcements, the much hyped Sholay, besides the remake of James, Shiva, and an English film, being a case in point, one wonders if his Time Machine would take off.
