How do I Look?Amitabh Bachchan

Dressed in a crisp white shirt, jeans and huge sunglasses, Bachchan looked rejuvenated and ready to take on the world. He put rest to rumours of a relapse, not by words but by his upbeat mood. Unfortunately, the officials present clearly weren't aware of the man's amazing popularity, as they reacted dramatically with 'I don't believe this' claims when the superstar was being mobbed.

Fortunately, the man himself was least perturbed by the frenzy. In his usual calm and collected manner, he lauded the IIFA as not just an awards ceremony but as a four-day festival.

While the actor will not be performing at this year's event, he did confirm his participation. Of course he added, "If my health permits." When asked about his health, he counter-questioned, "How do I look?"

When asked if Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Black' (in which he plays a central character) would sweep this award ceremony too, he said, "Naturally, I would expect that. But the voting is a secret and democratic process."

Voting for the IIFA Awards will open to the public from the third week of April.

Two interesting observations. Bachchan was wearing two wristwatches, yet he arrived an hour and a half late. Surprising, considering he is usually extremely punctual!
