Shah Rukh Khan in Emami ad

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been roped in for an ad campaign by Emami Ltd for the new Navaratna brand talc.
"Navaratna Cool talc will be endorsed by Shah Rukh. He joins megastars Amitabh Bachchan and Chiranjeevi as endorsers of the brand," Emami director Harsh V Agarwal said in Kolkata on Thursday.
The company plans to spend Rs 10 crore to promote the new talc brand for the forthcoming summer.
The company hopes to achieve a Rs 15 crore turnover from the new talc in the first year of launch.
Emami in a statement claimed that the Navaratna brand has grown at a 20 per cent rate in 2005-06.
