Sad news. One of my favourite songs is' Khoya Khoya Chand' from Kala Bazaar, Dev saab was so suave and had such flair in his heyday. They don't make them like him anymore. RIP.

Shocking news...I mean Shammi Kapoor, Jagjit Singh, Tiger Pataudi and now Dev Anand...it's been a tragic year for Bollywood in 2011. May he rest in peace. Ameen.

4 legends passed away this year.

Shammi Kapoor, Tiger Pataudi, Jagjit Singh, Dev Anand

A few other legends like Bhupen Hazarika, Ustad Sultan Ali Khan, Ustad Asad Ali Khan, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Anant Pai, Kuldeep Manak all passed away this year too. Outside of the arts/entertainment world, there was Nobel laureate Har Gobind Khorana.

Aside from them, Navin Nischol, Bob Christo, Goga Kapoor, M. F. Hussain, Sachin Bhowmick, Sujatha, Vivek Shauq, Ravichandran, Rasika Joshi, etc passed away too this year.

All in all, a very sad year. 😭

RIP my dad's favourite actor.

OH GOD! Just the day before yesterday i was watching Jewel theif, Guide is my most most most fave movie in the world.. i love that movie so much. I love dev anand just the way i love srk... his songs and his movies are so watchable even today. RIP
