wen did i say she doesnt deserve the credit she gt...i guess u didnt read my post properly, i said i reali liked her work in movies like hamara dil aapke paas hai--wich wasnt a hit bt she stil did well...infact acted way better than she did in her hit movie dhoom 2... all im saying is tht it was movies like HDDCS and Devdas tht gave her career the biggest boost leading her 2 hollywood n she was recommended for HDDCS by salman as he was her boyfriend at the time. SLB liked her in HDDCS so tuk her up for Devdas 2...as he found her suitable for Paro...so u cnt deny tht salman did give her gd movies n recognition...i agree tht she had 2 leave chalte chalte becos of salman, bt tht movie werent al tht anyway, so she didnt lose out on much..except a flop.

Erm, they started dating during the making of HDDCS, not BEFORE it. So how could he have recommended her?

But how can you be so sure he recommended her? Can you prove it? A simple yes or no?

dont get rude...i wasnt living under any rock...its u tht mus b for sayin it made international news wen it didnt... i live in UK...n no media channel here (ENGLAND media channels) had any news on aish...nor ne newspapers... its al india related news tht made it all tht n said it was all talked abt internationally bt in terms of international media...esp in England...no english news channels or other media networks annouced her pregnancy n delivery news... onli a glimpse of this was shown on Zing TV n tht was expected as ZingTV is a bollywood channel...other than tht no other media source here in UK talked abt aish n her pregnancy

She won't be taking more time off to care for her newborn? Hmm. whatever suits her best! Hope the film is good and not overdramatic or weirdly intense...I like the SLB of Devdas and HDDCS :)

You just said she got Devdas and HDDCS coz of Salman, now another minute you are saying she got Devdas coz Bhansali found her suitable. I am bit confuse here, make your mind.

First of all, Aishwarya and Salman started seeing each other on the making of HDDCS, so how in the world he suggested SLB to cast her? make no sense to me.

Its not about hit or flop, he did wrong by going on the sets and doing stupid things. He made her kicked out from several projects coz of his pathetic attitude, which made her left out from some great films. IMO its MUCH LOST for an actress.

same here, living in Australia and there is nothing at all about aish, and the fact that she is the most searched on google, well I'm not surprised, considering India has the second largest population in the world...

Believe it or jot, but she was getting offers from ppl way before Salman stepped into the picture. She was Yash Chopra's first choice for Madhuri's role in Dil Toh Pagal Hai--and Salman was no way associated with that.

It may be hard for ppl to digest that women can have a career solely on their own merits w/out a guys' assistance. She was getting work handed to her just b/c of looks--don't think Salman really fueled her success in any way.

@bold...ur getting me wrong here... i hav no problem in digesting tht fact...in fact its well good 2 c women achieve success without any help... al i was sayin is tht she gt 2 biggest movies via salman...it was sed during tht time bk in those days tht he had recommended her for HDDCS becos they had started dating thn... n post HDDCS, SLB liked her so tuk her on for Devdas...

obv being miss world n pretty she had movies handed ova 2 her, bt the 2 tht gt her talking n gave her career the biggest boost wer HDDCS n Devdas---n HDDCS was recommended by salman as he was her bf...they wer dating bt dnt think they admitted 2 it immediately.

@Vanity it's true Aish's baby news wasn't aired on any UK channel obviously Star News in on Sky here but thats airing from India but whereas no channel aired broadcasted by the British people didnt even mention about Aish yes...they write articles but they dont exactly like...speak about Bollywood that much. So I end up relying on IF and Twitter all the time.
