^I don't think anyone here has an issue with stay at home mothers. I think it boils down to maybe she WANTS to work, as you said there is absolutely no need (financially) for her to start filming right away, but if this news about SLB offering her a new film is true and she IS interested, I don't think there should be any issues about her wanting to go back to work.

And as for Abhishek, THIS movie wasn't offered to him but he has many other projects in the works, so he could also put aside a project or two and stay at home with his daughter.

Anyways, as you've said .. we have two differing views on this matter .. we'll leave it at that :)

They way they are talking down about Dimple + Madhuri. Ugh it's so pathetic. Makes me think they made it up.

I'm sure Yash Chopra was being honest when he said Madhuri was the first and only choice - because he says that he was looking for an accomplished dancer who can tackle western as well as she can do the eastern, and I think Sri was just too old for DTPH at that point of time.

Also, YRC wanted to work with Mahuri throughout the 90s - she was offered Aaina and Darr. Madhuri mentions it in the Filmfare Award speech when she won Best Actress Award for DTPH "I have had two opportunities to work with Yashi ji but they did not work out... but it was worth the wait..."

Also, I highly doubt Aishwarya Rai was even considered for the role. She had no acting experience behind her, and the role required a seasoned actress.

Well YC offered her something b/c I was going through old interviews where she was mentioning how he offered her soemthing nad she said no b/c she wanted to go back and study architecture and he said okay, go become an architect and then came back and work on our sets...with time you're be in front of the camera where you belong---something along those lines.

I could have sworn I read it somewhere that YC wanted Aishu for DTPH, but maybe it was Karishma's role. Uff, where are articles when you need them.😆

I think he approached her b/c they needed dancers for the role since it's a musical and she was one of the few that was known for her dancing. I think they wanted to work with her b/c of the way she looked. That's my guess as to why she was approached for Khamoshi and Raja Hindustani.

Listen Kripa, no one is being judgemental of women who decide to stay home, more power to such women. Its a big ask.

Similarly lets not be judgemental of women who decide to go back to work.

the only concern I have is for her to revover completely and not rush back into work.

I don't think should label women who wants work and who wants to stay at home. Non of these women are bad mums. If a woman wants to works in this case Aishwarya she can, and I think she know what is healty for her what is not!! If it is true this news she will only start mid next year, enough time to get rest!!! I hope this news is true!!
