Kim Sharma
Diamonds sure are a girl's best friend and trust Kim Sharma to make doubly sure that she has enough of these kinda friends.

It's been barely two months since she brought in the new year with 'good friend' VJ Yudi.

Yuvraj Singh
Onlookers too witnessed an overdose of PDA, but things have changed since then.

The girl was spotted at Anmol Jewellers at Bandra last Friday with none other than Yuvraj Singh, who actually bought her a solitaire.

Now armed with a brand new solitaire as well as good ol' friend Yuvraj, there's just no stopping this one!

And the winner is…

Arjun Rampal
Arjun Rampal. The actor recently bagged the award for the best supporting role at the BBC Asian Networks Film Caf Awards, after competing with the likes of Abhishek Bachchan, Nana Patekar, Kay Kay Menon and Chunky Pandey.

What makes this award even more precious is the fact that the nominees were selected by journalists from the network, while the listeners of BBC Asian Network cast their votes authentically for the winner.

Arjun managed to beat Abhishek by a close margin. When asked about this win, Rampal gave us his trademark smile, "I was very pleasantly surprised at first because this came out of the blue for me, and now that it has sunk in I am truly humbled by the love and confidence that my fans and well wishers have for me. This is truly a confidence booster for me and it encourages me to push myself to work in better films in the future."

Way to go, Arjun!

Bhatt, naturally

Hrishitaa Bhatt
On the sets of his new show Rokkky Mera Naam for Sahara Filmy, Chunky Pandey asked Hrishitaa Bhatt about doing a Mallika in her forthcoming film Jigyaasa wherein she plays the sex symbol quite like in the Bhatt film Murder.

Guess what Hrishitaa retorted, "The 'Bh' factor is what matters.

It's all about the Bhatt and not the butt."

Hmmmmm! Wonder who she was referring to… the producer or herself? What do you think?

Plus factor

Govinda

A lot can be said about our Bollywood stars, but to analyse them mathematically is a 'totally' different trip altogether.

Surely, there are many little interesting tidbits that add up to make a star the person he or she is.

And doing just that is a local entertainment newsletter that tells you pretty much the obvious, but in a way that is sort of hatke. Check out what we stumbled upon and managed a good laugh while at it.

Total Filmi Equations:
1. Any actor + any actress + many movies = David Dhawan
2. 1 smile + 32 teeth = Govinda
3. 1 person – shirt = Salman Khan
4. 1 person + straight hair + unstraight walk = Sanjay Dutt
5. 1 hand + 10 kg weight = Sunny Deol

Ultra cool, shall we say?

It's coffee time with Riteish

Riteish Deshmukh
It's not everyday that you get to have coffee with a Bollywood actor at the next table. So when actor Riteish Deshmukh walked into a coffee shop on Carter Road, a lot of the other guests there were thrilled to have a celebrity in their midst.

The actor was dressed in white casuals and also a white cap to keep away the sun as well as unwanted attention. While most preferred to stare at the star from a distance, a couple of them walked up to the actor for autographs and picture, and Riteish very sweetly obliged, too.

The actor is off from a shoot on a six-day break but has had to attend rehearsals for another award function to be held shortly. And while on his welcome holiday, Riteish has been sporting a stubble, and we must say he looks pretty cool with it on!

Cyrus's business show

Cyrus Sahukar
MTV VJ Cyrus Sahukar is looking forward to hosting Business Baazigar on Zee.

Over a year ago, the channel had announced this reality show with Sandhya Mridul as co-host (she's no longer part of the show!) to provide budding entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase and sell their business ideas.

"Business Baazigar has been delayed because of its gigantic set-up. There are about 30 to 40 cameras, the set is huge and editing requires a lot of time. But the show is definitely happening," he claims.

"It was some experience, as I have a chance to wear Gabbana suits instead of my usual jeans," adds Cyrus who hosts Piddhu at 12 on MTV.

Raza's Bollywood

Q. What would you call Rani Mukerji if she became a pilot?
A.
'Flying' Rani.
