The kind of films she has on hand, Priyanka Chopra is the most talk about star today. Here the actress talks about her forthcoming venture Bluffmaster and why she was chosen over Aishwarya Rai:

Tell us about your role in Bluff Master.
I play Simi Ahuja who works in a hotel. As is obvious from the title, the film Bluffmaster is about a con man played by Abhishek Bachchan. There are several tracks in the film since Abhishek as a con man comes across a lot of people who help him go through a transformation. One such track is his romance with Simi Ahuja – she's the calming factor in his life. With her around, he wants to do all the right things in life, and come back to leading a normal life.

You were not the first choice for Bluff Master; Aishwarya was? Comment.
I was unaware of this till the first day of the film. I called Rohan and asked him about it. These things keep happening in the industry. Besides all I know is that when Kkrish postponed a month's shooting to January, I had the dates to work in another film. Rohan offered me BM at that point of time and I took it one because I liked it.

What is it that liked about BM?
The fact that it was an interesting script, the set was new for me. But what I really liked about the film is the fresh perspective it was taking in terms of the subject. It's interesting. Frankly, I've never done a film like that and I am glad I had the time to do this film. It's been an enjoyable experience.

You've been working with Rohan Sippy, Abhishek Bachchan, Ritesh and Nana Patekar for the first time. What was the experience like?
Yes, there are a lot of firsts in this. Rohan is the first one to offer me a film with Abhishek. And together they are can really rag the hell out of you. Rohan and Abhishek are the biggest pranksters!You can count Ritesh too in that with Abhishek has the group leader. With three of them hand in gloves, you simply have no chance to stand up to their their madness. As for Nana (Patekar), considering the actor that he is I was on my toes and kind of nervous with him being around. The scene was such that he had to keep line –maraoing me in it. Both of us were uncomfortable and after every shot we would keep saying sorry to each other. He was quite sweet and saw to it that I was not uncomfortable.

Tell us about Rohan as a director?
I am satisfied with my experience of working with Rohan. He's made such a nice film. Not just in terms of story, the film's entire take is new. It is a refreshing young film, colourful and the music has not been treated like a regular normal Hindi film. It's an assortment of songs from all around – like in the pattern of Original Sound Tracks that Hollywood employs for their film. Even though the film is different, it is commercial and has all the ingredients of masala and masti happening in it. They have picturised the popular Mahmood song of the seventies, 'Sabse bada rupaiiya' on Abhishek and it's a fabulous video.

What are your other films?
I'm currently busy with Krrish, and Rumi Jafferi's God Tussi Great Ho. Don, my film with Farhan Akhtar, will go on the floors in February.
