Opening collections are not a measure of the films calibre...its just a measure of how much hype and publicity the film generated b4 the release. If it sustains for the coming weeks without a drastic drop in the collections, then it can be said tht it was "accepted" by the audience. As of now,the trade analysts predict a downward trend in collections and given the fat budget of the movie, therz more or less no chance of getting past a meager "hit" status...

What about the dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu? How did they perform? Do they count?

150+ cr at stake and its constantly being put off by the audience. Even before the release people said it was gonna break records and they were sure aware of DIWALI PUJA. Why all of a sudden PUJA is being blamed?

This is the final day one collections. Meaning combining the WHOLE India... Not sure abt Tamil/Telugu are not counted according to Taran

It's ok dear, i can understand ur sentiments, Dabangg n Ready were not having same kind of release or Hype... Hype+Release was bigger than even BodyGuard, Result is near Ready, If u think 14 Crore is gud number for Ra.One, then i guess u r avoiding to accept it's big rejection...

Ticket Prices were hiked, No. Of Shows were increased - Result should be close to BodyGuard if not exceeding...??? Ready was released on Non-Holiday - it brings 13.5 Crore, now u can see how it makes difference 😆

Latest Update - India figures: #RaOne *Hindi + Tamil + Telugu* Rs 18.25 cr nett. Thursday expected to be Rs 22 cr to Rs 25 cr nett.

Ra.one HUGE RELEASE, Hiked ticket rates, more screens, 1 and a half years of promotion and Diwali holiday but made just 14 cr where Dabangg and Ready were just normal releases and only a month of promotion😆
