It is crystal clear - Katrina Kaif is turning out to be a regular fixture with Chopras in each of their upcoming biggies, what with the makers trusting her to deliver goods for each of their three biggies in 2012. Whether it is Salman Khan starrer EK THA TIGER, Shahrukh Khan yet untitled film which would be directed by none other than Yash Chopra himself and Aamir Khan's DHOOM 3, it is Katrina who is a common factor.
Point to be noted is that the only other actress who has enjoyed similar feat is Kareena Kapoor who is working with each of the Top-5 Khans that also includes Saif Ali Khan andImran Khan. However these films are with different filmmakers.
In case of Katrina, what is also noticeable is the fact that the young woman is being relied upon even when it comes to performance oriented roles. While Katrina is expectedly silent on her superb line up in months to come, she is more than eager to share her experience around reuniting with NEW YORK director Kabir Khan in EK THA TIGER. She says, "I have enjoyed working with him before because he is a very special director. When I did NEW YORK with him, it resulted in an altogether different perception for the audience. Kabir brings in a difference to the storytelling while his approach towards cinema is unique."
On being further prodded about her Chopras trusting her when it came to performance oriented films, as is also expected in EK THA TIGER and especially the one where she would be sharing screen space with Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, Katrina says, "See, it is always a mix of everything, right from the script, set up and an overall direction that brings out the right results. No single person can take credit for everything."
Guess the young woman is not yet biting the bait when it comes to making quotable quotes yet!
