I too loved SRK at one time...still do if the truth be known though I am horribly let down at his preference for men.
I missed the notification when liking or even loving someone became the same as pretending not to notice obvious problems.
If that was the case we'd all turn a blind eye when our kids were having problems in school and the people who care for us would pretend to eat up our lies with a spoon no matter how glaringly they contrasted with reality.
Anyone past the age of 15 or with even the remotest contact with the real world of adult relationships can see that SRK & Gauri haven't been much beyond a media created fairy tale couple for years.
Yes I KNOW his PR says something different. I know HE says something different, and boys don't masturbate, Bollywood actresses don't have cosmetc procedures done, and politicians don't lie...after all...they SAY they don't and that's enough for us...right?
WRONG.
Gauri is looking like death warmed over and can't even be bothered to pretend to like SRK even in a documentary about his life!
This is where people who can only like or be a "fan" of someone if they think them perfect cardboard cutouts fail to understand that for all their talk about "loving" SRK they don't love anything except some fake ass image that makes THEM feel like their dreams are real. They love an idea of perfection but will fight to the death anyone who even approaches the man as a MAN...a human being. They are the silly children who demand that SRK be nothing more than a picture and an idea of a "perfect husband" even as his wife wastes away and spends most of her time with a woman who looks like a textbook example of what drugs can do to a person...even as they see a man who works, as Juhi (his friend for YEARS stated) 20 hour days and when not doing that is avoiding one-on-one contact with his family by any means available.
This is a man who would rather make a movie about being a loving father than actually spend one on one time with his son...or maybe the moments snatched between a party for this friend, a music launch and all it's attendant preparations & rehearsals, shooting for the next picture, a trip to Dubai or where-ever-the-hell for the opening of an envelope and 3am visits to McDonalds to stand beside a man in a scary looking clown costume to hawk happy meals with his action figures in them before starting the whole cycle anew tomorrow would constitute close fatherly involvement in the typical SRK fan's home.
Really? Srsly?
Like the man but for heaven's sake who ever said that liking someone means leaving your brain or your critical faculties at the door?
