As for friendship--it's super clear. She can only be friends with people that aren't direct threats to her or her competition. She does say nice things about people here and there, but that doesn't mean she's friends with them.

Why her equation with PC doesn't work?! Many reasons, but it most probably started post-Aitraaz. And then PC was the top contender for number 1 spot and all the hidden insecurities probably surfaced. And as for PC, I think she thought Kareena COULD be her friend, like how Hema and Jaya were good friends, how Aishu and PZ are good friends, and that's all I can think of as now (so I guess Desu was right--not that many girls can be good friends in this industry!) But when she didn't get the same respond, she felt like a fool and was strictly cordial towards her. Yes, Shahid is a big factor too--but since they're weren't friends tha whole: "Thou shall not date my friend's ex" went out the window.
