i watched all of srk's "intense" romantic movies with my family (i know they are essentially family movies, but i get a tad uncomfy during the aur paas scene in DTPH, Suraj hua maddham in K3G with all those necking simulations, main yahaan hoon in veer zaara where srk undresses priety etc)...and i get real uncomfortable during all those "intensely romantic" moments...

Kisses are fine though...not too bad...as long as they are kindergarden cute kisses like 3 idiots or jab we met and not like the ones in salaam namaste...

OMG!! That in bold made me burst into a fit of giggles...not as annoying (for some) and adorable (for me 😳) as Aishu's. Your mom is hilarious...does she still like PC?! I remember my Dad used to be a huge Aishu fan and then he was Dhoom 2 and now he hates her...well he used to hate her and then I made him watch JA multiple times...so he can tolerate her. But yikes! Our parents...😆

its a powerful movie...but its a tad male chauvinist (rishi kapoors character was a total spineless jerk and did NOT deserve meenakshi sheshadri's character in the end)...but it is quite good...i like it...although some scenes are explicit like meena pointed out, its disturbing, but it also makes a good impact...

and i agree with u ppl here...its also the same case in TV shows...when I watch TVD and i watch any love-making scene or something its fine with me, but the moment they show some ind of consummation scene on Indian TV, its so embarrassing especially bcoz ur watching TV with ur whole family sitting right besides u!

It totally makes sense...def on the same wavelength! It's like I expect more culture from Indian films, but then at the same thing I complain and want BW movies to be more like HW...I'm so glad you also think HW are good/better too...I try not to say that here though. 😉

ROFL...both my parents LOVE aishwarya...my dad more so...my mum, well she used to love her in her hey days but not anymore...

the thing with my mum is, she only likes skinny heroines (so tht she can point at me and say tht i need to lose weight and look like them)...so she likes PC, she liked aishwarya during HDDCS and devdas (but not now coz shes put on weight), she likes deepika...

i can NEVER get her to like kareena though...the only time she liked her was during jwm when she was in perfect shape...after and before that, her weight kept fluctuating so my mom never tended to like her...😆
