Hmmm. I doubt it. MNIK had a different appeal.. religious and nationalistic. Western-based audiences who are used to seeing Avatar and Transformers will not be too excited with a Sci-fi.

Except for 3I no other movies have broken the 150 crore barrier. I doubt Ra1 will do it either. It's just not a very saleable genre for the Indian audience. MAybe Don2 can.. who knows?

It's Silly, i was writing in favor of Srk and also was asking as how it need 150 Crore... U jump on conculsion as i am bashing SRK stating Ready and Dabangg to be CRAP... then here it goes...

SRK will have to beat Dabangg and Ready RECORDS plus BODYGUARD also in coming weeks..

1. 1st day huge Record = 14.45 Crore - Dabangg / Ready = 13.5 Crore

2. 1st Huge Weekend Records Both Dabangg / Ready = 1 and 2 spot

3. READY - Biggest Film NON_FESTIVE PERIOD

And now EID - BODYGUARD ===== Which will even Cross DABANGG and READY...

So Better Gear up for SRK as he has to Cross 15 CRORE Milestone on 1st day Release of Ra. One and Don 2...

I think its wrong to compare these movies which are nothing alike nor their budgets. Don 1 was so so only twist in end was exciting. Ra one don't seem pleasing. Don 2 will do well as its action thriller but I know to me I will think its ok. In summary Debangg and Ready Rocked and are blockbusters. To me Salman rocks 👏

..and I just googled Ra1's director. His graph includes Dus and Cash. SRK is already saying how he's doing Ra 1 for prestige and honor (), because with a director like Sinha, with music composers like Vishal - Shekhar and with a super hero like Arjun Rampal, there's no way Ra1 is setting a benchmark. Don looks way more slick and I think a wider set of audience would enjoy it...Personally, I detest the sci fi genre.
