In the past, he may have, but with Salman and Amir knowing what works for the audience and their fans, can SRK beat their set records...ever? Friends have turned foes (Except for his non existent clique which includes Arjun Rampal who is as good as a chest drawer and Karan Johar); hence it is desperate times for him. Desperate times even calls for desperate measures, such as fabricating stories with Priyanka Chopra. If (God forbid) Ra 1 and Don are not as big as they are projected out to be, what shall happen with him? He will survive I say for next few yrs, but with his power dwindling and his face not even decent enough for the big screen anymore...how long can he go on before he has a break down?

I think SRK is gonna be like Rani M and Preity Z in the next few yrs...his fall's looking bad. (Yupp, I think that, no matter how bizarre that sounds.)

I don't have much hope for SRK left anymore...he is fading out as the other Khans are rising. but let's wait for Ra.1. Even though i don't expect much from that movie either.

Ra 1 sorta has failure written all over (doesn't it need to gross over 75 crores to even make zilch of profit?) ; Don shall decide his fate. 😆

Yeah. The next few months will be a make-or-break time for SRK. His last uncontested hit was RNBDJ. After that all his production movies bombed, MNIK is still in the no-man's-land between hit and flop, his looks have vanished like Cinderella's coach at midnight and his 150 crore Ra-1 is making all the fans and distributors suffer sleepless nights.

Everyone loses hope, but true sincere dedicated fans. So many people threw Rani out of the industry saying she was gone for good, but she came back with a bang in NOKJ and now has a film with Aamir and Kareena in line. Every actor/actress has their period of struggle. But in most cases they come back better as ever! I don't really like this "Aamir is better, Salman is better, Shahrukh is better" game. I LOVE Aamir and he stands amazing at where he is and same goes for Shahrukh. My thoughts on Salman differ. Of course for Shahrukh his films in the 90s and early 2000s shone much more than his recent films. Who cares if right now the commercial success is in Salman's favor?! Every human being will have their personal favorite. Mine is Shahrukh. Someone else's may be Salman while another person's may be Aamir.

There was a time when Dilip Kumar ji was the numero uno of Bollywood. After him came Amitabh Bachan. Next in line came Shahrukh. Amit ji can never beat the position Dilip ji had and Shahrukh can never beat the position that Amit ji had. The fans are what brought these stars to the positions and the fans are what will keep these stars in that position no matter what!!!

raone budget is abt 140 cr but i guess the movie will recover its cost but will it be huge success i doubt...don2 trailers looked gud...srk rules outside the india from boxoffice collection and salman rules in india and aamir rules everywhere

I think few years ago the same question could have been asked for Salman and Aamir... so maybe yes, he can - he is liked by many. Hopefully his movies do well this yr! He seems to have put in a lot for both his movies - especially RA.1!

Ra1 is trending better than Bodyguard already according to Ormax media..

Ra 1 and Don 2 will open big and will make huge money.

Amir already had a flop in Dhobi Ghat..his fan base is smaller than the other 2 and needs good films/directors.This year he will be at no 3 spot till Dhoom 3 releases(inspite of Zakhmee)..which is at the end of the next year.

Dabangg+Ready + Bodyguard is formidable..

But year end belongs to Shahrukh..His films are different from the masala mass entertainers..

SRK has invested a lot of effort and money to produce the best..it will be appreciated.

Don't go by his physical appearance off screen..makeup can do wonders..
