Srk has had his time and now its long gone. The reson for this is him trying to get involved in too many things. He owns an IPL team, he acts in crappy movies, he runs a production house, dances in weddings and Godforsaken award shows, gets muddled in tax issues, advertises everything from chaddis to soaps-heck in UK Hindi channel, he even appears in an ad for compensation solicitors.

At the age that he is he has to develop a niche audience, but generally over the last few years people are just tired of seeing his uncharismatic, exhausted face just about every where.

Salman is back with vigour and Aamir has his own audience. And SRK is lost in all this- too old to play the Raj roles anymore. He should semi retire in my opinion. Quite frankly with the exception of Chake De his last few movies have been trash.

He has an identity crisis or mid-life crisis, call it anyway you want.

In the past, he may have, but with Salman and Amir knowing what works for the audience and their fans, can SRK beat their set records...ever? Friends have turned foes (Except for his non existent clique which includes Arjun Rampal who is as good as a chest drawer and Karan Johar); hence it is desperate times for him. Desperate times even calls for desperate measures, such as fabricating stories with Priyanka Chopra. If (God forbid) Ra 1 and Don are not as big as they are projected out to be, what shall happen with him? He will survive I say for next few yrs, but with his power dwindling and his face not even decent enough for the big screen anymore...how long can he go on before he has a break down?

I think SRK is gonna be like Rani M and Preity Z in the next few yrs...his fall's looking bad. (Yupp, I think that, no matter how bizarre that sounds.)

He's so unpredictable you don't know what he'll come up with, it just takes one hit & you're back on the scene but it's easier said than done, Salman has set the bar so high. I wouldn't write him off yet but I have to say he's lost whatever little he had. He's lost the spunk [spunk as in spirit :) thought i should clarify ] & his face looks like a map of the London Underground, it's as if he couldn't give a damn about about himself completely the opposite of Salman. Salman & Aamir are a lot more intelligent than him now as well professionally & he takes the game way to seriously compared to the two Khans which is why he shits bricks a lot more when his films fail at the BO because he was always the showman who wanted all the focus/attention on him ever since he started out. Salman & Aamir were always relaxed in comparison.

In Main aur Mrs Khanna it was Sohil who was the lead and Salman a special long apperance. Veer was movie made by the heart and something Salman wanted to do and only those who support Salman would understand. Just Like Ra 1 is to SRK (and that movie seeems unappealing esp to me)

@Karti, SRK proclaimed hes the King not the people😆 own appointed King good you said last 15years, admitting that in last 5 years he is not. Let SRK know though😆

I think Ra one will be a hit..If a movie like Ready could be a blockbuster then why not Raone?😕

Im not a fan of SRK. I prefer Aamir over SRK!!

Ra One looks like a flop already :( and Don 2 doesnt seem that great either and SRK on-screen looks bad with all those really dark lips thanks to his excessive smoking, even his skin is looking really bad.

And god forbid if Don 2 atleast doesn't become a hit then bye bye SRK

i mean they do have mission impossible 4 coming out a week before Don 2 so ... Plus the PC rumors are really lets just say sad :/ i dont want to believe them but its too obvious i guess, or whatever it is and with the rate Salman, Aamir and even Ranbir are going in a year or two SRK could def fade away

According to the Media Salman is at present, so you can live in his past glory (yet he says hes the badshaah, no one else 😆) IMO Aamir was and now Salman😉

. Sohil was the hero, and he did have longer role than Salman go and see again. Also BB mentioned SRK's other movies (as don't care enough to search his status, since 2004 (Veer-Zaara liked it alot PZ-SRK rocked) Since then never cared on his movies, only expection 2009 Rab ne bana di jodi with Anushka😊

Will post link or article where says Salman is ruling right now. Hes the superstar emperor, hes even called the bollywood Rajnikanth (media saying it and other stars) Not Salman he never says he is and never will. Superstars don't have to proclaim 👏

Well most of my foreign friends only know SRK from Bollywood...
And I don't think they'll ever watch movies of someone else, in fact I am sure... SRK has got movies which will always be remembered like KKHH,Dilwale,KKKG,KHNH and Veer Zaara... I don't think flops can damage SRK's career now, just like Amitabh's... The truth is that he has a huge part in making Bollywood so popular in other countries apart from Ind/Pak/Afg... So I still believe SRK has got more fans than Sallu, but Sallu has got something which Sharukh doesn't have which is; Sallu can make a movie without a proper story hit and even blockbluster, while SRK needs a story most of the times... And atm Sallu is lucky while SRK is unlucky...

Note I am not a SRK/Sallu/Aamir fan, for me there is only a King Kumar no King Khan...

Its definitley Shah Rukh's downtime right now, but not as an actor, more as a person. You can tell he's lost a bit of steam and the energy he used to have. Like all others, he's growing old.

But i do believe SRK has tranceded the need to have hits or flops determine his fanbase. I think he's one of the rare stars who has built himself a home in bollywood that is too big and too loyal to waver if Ra.1 or Don 2 flops.

Salman Khan is the leading khan right now, and his mere presence in films are making it blockbusters. SRK's presence cannot make a movie a blockbuster anymore, but it still doesn't subtract his fanbase. And thats an extremley valuable asset in bollywood.

He's the only star i see who is living now that will eventually become a BigB. So i think he should ease into old age gracefully, instead of monkeying around with Ra1's and Don's.

Aamir remains to be the cleverest out of the three, and his focus isn't in hit films, but rather film itself, and exploring genres and mingling it with Indian audiences. I think Aamir is stable, and his career decisions have been fairly calculated.

But SRK though. I do see his time at the top fading, and soon the 'throne' will go to someone else. But no flops or hits or anything will reduce his title as the King Khan. He will remain one our most popular actors for his entire run.
