There are DTPH haters here? I loved that movie...maybe because it was the first Bollywood movie I ever watched and I just fell in love with Lolo's dance in the beginning of the film...the only thing I didn't like in that movie was Akki😆

As for Karishma's second innings...no she won't be able to regain that star power, but if she wants to do films, then she should stick to decent ones...that Dangerous Ishq movies just has lame written all over it. The same with Madhuri, I always remember her last film to be Devdas...I never saw Aaja Nachle but I could tell from the promos that Yash Raj was completely wasting her talent and wow the respect for her fell pretty quickly after that

@ smartiepants I have proved my point, so I can drop it, u were saying that Karisma did not have the star power to deliver a hit on her own and I gave the example of Anari, Madz also has one solo movie to her credit and that is Raja, end of story, and as I said Anil Kapoor was in Beta, and Anil-Madz jodi has been popular!

trust me chica, if u saw yash chopras previous movies like kabhie kabhie, lamhe, waqt, deewar etc...DTPH would seem like it was made by a kindergardner...

Anari didnt survive on karishma's basis...she just debuted a year ago..how much star power could she possibly have aquired in a year full of flops to singlehandedly make a film a hit based on her own popularity...

maybe madhuri is more popular since she came in 1984, however Karisma is also quite popular, as much as Kajol, which is fine, I am looking forward to her comeback!

You have to understand I was under 10 at the time...the heart shaped balloons looked like lots of fun😆

i was like 7 back then..and the spandex looked fashionable😆...but looking back,it dosent hold the timeless value that something like HAHK or MPK or even DDLJ did...if i watched HAHK today,id be entertained...if i watched DTPH today, id be yawning!

Prem Qaidi was a semi-hit in 1991, Anari came mid 1993, and I am sorry but seriously Beta, was made on Anil Kapoor, that is why it is called 'Beta' and I thought u wanted to drop the arguement?
