@billa, priyanka chopra lost her virginity in that film much earlier, she was having an affair with her manager. It was her 'one night stand' with a black bouncer that made her feel like she had hit rock bottom. Perhaps it wasn't overtly racist, as we can either believe that she felt bad because it was a one night stand, but i personally thought they chose the black guy to 'shock indian audiences'. which was unessecary. She could have just slept with an indian dude.

There are reports claiming kareena already signed the film. SOmeone on twitter mentioned that they saw kareena on NDTV saying she will meet with Madhur soon. Jitesh on twitter said kareena might sign the film. All these rumors can't be true. And plus jitesh was the first guy to report aish is in heroine and he was right.

o ya... i forgot... 2 scenes, 1 with her boyfriend and 1 with arbaaz the boss...

About black guy... i guess madhur chose him 2 show, coz in metro places in disc, we find all kinds of guyz those days, from diff country... coz i don't think we asian cud show racism in our films, when we are very touchy about the subject... baaki u felt it, it is possible, coz of just black guy...

No BB we show racism all the time lol. We are asians, and sure were touchy but more often than not there are always snide comments about 'chinese' people or 'black' people in many of our films. I'm not saying such forms of racism dont exist in other industries, god knows that hollywood makes a running mockery out of indians everywhere, but bollywood does an equally good job shitting on other stereotypes too.

Most recent example, in Ready:

In one scene, a black man is told: Tumhara chehra national TV par dikhaayen toh poori duniya ka nazar utar jaaye. Elsewhere, a Bangkok local is addressed as "noodle".
Edit: Disclaimer, im not critisizing ready, but giving you an example of a movie i know you've seen for sure. Racism slips under the radar in our films as 'comedy' too often BB, even if its something small it still exists.

Being such a huge fan of bollywood, it hurts me so much when bollywood films show racists scenes...I just don't understand the need to do it. It's not funny.

even if madhur's ideas are repetitive, he gets striking performances from his actors...and they always land in the 'PROFIT' for them...

well at the end , a person can suggest, its upto the actor to make a move or run backwards in the dark

Yes kareena isnt doing any substantial work...but what exactly is the point are u trying to make?? comparing kareena to madhur?😕
let me get this clear...When I post something remotely negative about anyone..., should i always expect a lecture about how bad kareena is??Even though my post has nothing to do with kareena?..Just because I happen to like her, u have to quote me and criticize her?...
I just said madhur was mediocre..i didnt say "kareena was too good for him" or anything of tht sort...so u bringing kareena in was utterly and completely useless...
