Kat certainly got a head start compared to other newcomers because she had Salman's support. But lets face it now she is successful even without Salman. She broke up with him some time ago and yet unlike Aish she never faced the repurcursions. She was never made to look like a woman who slept her way to the top only to dump the man once she reached her goals.
Even today she has films with the two warring Khans SRK and Salman who are bitter enemies and equally powerful. She has films with other big stars like Hrithik who are cordial with SRK. This despite being generally viewed as being from Salman/Akshay camp. She certainly has the intelligence to use tact well in her personal relationships. She certainly deserves some credit. Though I feel once audience starts getting bored of her she will have to retire and move away from the limelight unlike say a Madhuri who is an eternal diva. But even now I'll give her another 5 years.

LOL she's not smart but she isn't any ms.world beauty with brains person. She isn't very talented either even though she's a good dancer. She's famous cuz of her luck. But i still like her though :p

Anyway I don't know if I am ready to believe Katrina is as dumb as people make her out to be. She is talentless [ at least in my opinion] yet look at how far she has come. There are only two ways she could have reached the success she enjoys today. One being immensely talented or the second being being immensely smart [or calculating] and knowing exactly who to use where and how. No dumb person can come this far without any real talent like she has. So in my eyes she is far from being dumb. She is actually a smart chick😛
