RANBIR's gone underground?

Ranbir Kapoor is back in the news but this time not for being spotted with another girl, but instead, for not being spotted at all. Either it's Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone going all out to tarnish his image in public again, or his much-hyped rivalry with Imran Khan — whatever may be the reason — the Kapoor boy has been missing in action for the whole of last week. So much so that his own associates have been unable to trace his whereabouts. "He has a few script meetings and photo shoots lined up for next week, we were trying to contact him but his phone is switched off," says Ranbir's friend. His staff had to cancel all his appointments. "This kind of behaviour is very unlike Ranbir. He must've been pushed far enough to go underground," says his staff.

The actor has been intentionally avoiding the media for quite some time now, but his sudden decision to vanish without a trace has sparked off yet another allegation. Is it the stupendous success of Delhi Belly that has unnerved him? Sources have revealed that Ranbir was very much in town. The only appearance he made was at his grandfather Raj Kapoor's bungalow, besides being spotted in Chembur once sans his driver. We wonder if it's a new babe in town responsible for his invisible act.
