Amitabh tweeting was their way of gaining sympathy in public ..Its a publicity Stunt and the producers and director were dumb founded and helpless to do anything about it,...

Had she spoken with them privately maybe they would have squeezed the dates or what ever..But by this public declaration they had no option ..maybe ash was not serious in completing this film to begin with..

yes, forgot the oh so speedy Indian court system.. sucks for everyone involved, no one has gained frm this fiasco..

Hmm. I honestly think this project can be salvaged, if the money loss is really that big, and so many people lose out on their jobs if they pull the plug why cant they go on with it with a better actress. I said it a few pages back and i'll say it again, if Madhur really calls this his dream-project he should do whatever he can to save it.

Raise the hype, raise the contraversy, sign a better actress, make an awesome movie, Madhur will only get more credit if he goes through with it and people will talk for ages about how he 'struggled' to make heroine even when the famous Bachan-gal got pregnant and quit on him and he still managed to make this 'great and critically acclaimed film'.

Come on Madhur. Your films are only so-so, but you could reallly make this whole thing turn-around and show the industry a brand new "Heroine"

i don't know... i doubt it... because a lot of people within the industry have spoken against the bachans in the past, and if he really was doing something out of 'respect' for big b, he could have delayed the project instead of shelving it...!

of course, he is at a loss... and his fault is not as grave as ash's, in comparison (if i look at both sides)...
