That's rubbish. First of all, that's entirely subjective notion of what one considers as a good film. Setting that aside, what you're saying is still rubbish. As far as directors/producers are concerned, I'd rate Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee, Vishal Bharadwaj, etc ahead of him. As an all round package, Kamal Hassan or heck Amole Gupte is far ahead of him again. As an actor, well, lets not even talk about it.

So the notion that Aamir is somehow the savior of Indian cinema is utter and unadulterated rubbish. He does awful films like Ghajini too (awful performance and movie).

evey star has his own pros and cons...its upto us for which quality we like or dislike them...

But I do feel that his movies are average..

i haven't seen many though,but from the recent times - Ghajini ... 2nd half was a pure headache! no offence!
And i couldn't even finish watching the 'art' piece called dhobhi ghaat

old movies were really good like - QSQT,Andaaz apna apna,Raja hindustani ... He was a better actor then..and now all he thinks is of making 'intelligent' movies ...
