| Will READY live up to the humungous expectations? Most importantly, will READY embark on a mind-boggling start like Salman's blockbuster hit DABANGG? Well, all doubts were put to rest on Friday as the screening of this much-awaited movie commenced across the nation. The morning shows were in 70% to 80% range [at places, even 100%], but by 12 noon, the film was running to packed houses everywhere. Multiplexes as well as single screens. READY has had a wide release, with the distributors opening the film at practically every centre, big or small, where Hindi films get released. Looking at the hype and craze surrounding the film, the opening day, weekend and Week 1 numbers are expected to be earth-shattering. In fact, READY is expected to give a tough fight to DABANGG in its opening weekend. Meanwhile, the Top 5 opening Fridays are as follows:- DABANGG Rs 14.5 cr [Eid] 3 IDIOTS Rs 13 cr [Christmas] TEES MAAR KHAN Rs 12.75 cr [Christmas] RAAJNEETI Rs 10.5 cr KITES Rs 10.5 cr READY is expected to feature in this coveted list, for sure.
