Well, isnt picking bold roles a part of her career? I mean she's an actress right? Yup, I agree, you need to be in the spotlight for some reason or the other to survive in billywood but compared to the other actors and actresses, i.e, relatively speaking, Vidya, Konkona, Ajay (perhaps even Kangana) fare much better in terms of letting their acting speak, rather than their link ups, break ups etc etc.

Not that she's known for her 'acting' kinda worked, but she's known for her good looks and model-like physique, which IS after all her work (post- Ms. Universe stuff?)

^yup, thats what I meant... i mean, its not her 'acting' but that counts as the work that speaks of her, but technically, what WAS her job anyway, after winning the. Ms. Universe title? It was to look good and have a generally easy-on-the-eyes image... she didn't really have controversies and stuff, a la Sushmita Sen. All she really did is go around, sponsor stuff, look good, act in movies, vagera vagera

The first person that came to my mind was Aamir Khan. He speaks out about political issues and national issues but as a citizen that is his right. In terms of Bollywood "issues", I don't hear that much gossip about him.

He is no better than the others ... In fact he is a lot worse ... he tries to couch everything he does in "intelligent actor" image ...

Randomly speaking on political issues when the closely coincide with his film's release but never ever doing anything concrete ? The whole publicity stunt about how much he was helping the "3 idiots" school after the cloud burst when in truth, all the work was done by Hindustan Construction Company employed by the drupka trust that runs the school



Honestly, i think they are all the same ... no one works really speaks for them ... some of the them position themselves as bollywood kings others pretend they are above all this and into serious cinema ... Its a dirty industry and sooner or later they all get into the game. The money is way too much for them to show dignity

Ajay Devgan- he is the first guy that came to my mind.

Emran Hashmi- so underrated unfortunately. Amazing actor. and never in the news or anything...
