Bollywood's beautiful brides 😃

Shilpa Shetty More Pics
One can't even begin to imagine what a harrowing time Kate Middleton must have had when it came to choosing a wedding gown.

After all, the world was going to watch and she knew she had to be perfectly dressed, in keeping with royalty. And her choice lived upto all the hype, with her ivory and white silk gazar and lace applique gown being appreciated by one all. So what have our desi beauties worn to their own weddings here and were they applauded or critisised for them?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: She's made a beautiful reel bride everytime she's appreared as one in films, but nothing could even come close to how she looked on the day oh her real wedding to Abhishek Bachchan. The bride wore a traditional Pochampally sari and was bedecked in jewellery that made her look no less than a princess!

Shilpa Shetty: Shilpa Shetty's wedding outfit, a red Swarovski crystals-embellished sari was rumoured to have cost Rs 50 lakh! Now that's quite a hefty sum to spend on one saree. But when you're married to a richie-rich businessman like Raj Kundra, money, is something you don't bother too much about!

Lara Dutta: Although Lara Dutta didn't score very high when it came to her hair and make-up, the bride's Elie Saab wedding gown manage to get brownie points from the fashionistas.

Priyanka Oberoi: Vivek Oberoi's blushing bride went for a tradional Tarun Tahliani lehenga choli in shades of pink, red and orange. And although the look was really heavy, she carried it off with elan.

Konkona Sensharma: She's one actress who's always opted for the path less taken. And true to her simple nature, Konkona, unlike her Bollywood counterparts, did not go down the designer outfit way. Instead, she wore a traditional Bengali bridal saree and accessorised it with her grandmother's traditional jewellery. And although we didn't get to see her look, we're getting

I was disappointed with Aishwarya's look in her wedding. I didnt like her outfit so much and the jewellery and makeup could have been much better. Looked very gaudy to be honest. Shilpa Shetty, looked very nice in her wedding. Karisma Kapoor, is another bollywood bride that looked absolutely divine in her wedding video. I've never seen her look better. Everything was so perfect; the pink outfit, the makeup, everything.

Priyanka really did look good in her lengha, it was absolutley beautiful with the embroidery and the various shades of pink. Karishma looked so so so good, it seemed perfect for her. I personally didn't like Shilpa's oulfit, it just didn't stand out at all. Konkona's lengha was beautiful and it was simple but she just looked so good and the tikka she chose with it added so much to the whole look. Aishwarya looked pretty too, the sari colour worked really well on her and it was well designed.
