Not Barbie's fault if indian actresses's PRs are dummies and don't demand more cash for their 'acting' for what it's worth anyway.
For the record and to make a relevant comparison : 300 000 $ is what is earned by the french version of / equivalent of Nargis-Sharmila-Aish-Kajol combo Catherine Deneuve, she is in her 60's by now. It is considered to be a very low wage for an actress for the international market. Catherine has obviously lost value due to her age and her no longer looking a blondie princess just like in her 20's.
Barbie can act pretty good and she is versatile. She is popular in south amrerica. She is not Rubi rubi was a character like Kajol was not Simran and Aish was not =Paro and Preity was not Naina. Not her fault is her character in Kites was bad written and the movie wannabish and flawed. It is the scriptwriter's. Not her fault if she's beautiful/fair acc to BW standards. They want her then just pay the price. Before criticizing her do a little research on what actresses earn in other countries. Marion Cotillard earns 1 million dollars a movie. Ok she was acclaimed and awarded internationally. Barbie is very much appreciated in lots of parts of the world too. Not her fault if indian actresses don't demand what they really worth in the film industry market. Not because she's hot she cannot act just like other actresses who are the most beautiful faces on earth and known galaxies cannot act just because they are gorgeous. Actually what do you know about her and her life that she bores you. At least she doesn t put the sativri mask to cover up she is a single mom.....do you know her dad is japanese and her mom from Uruguay. If she finds an opportunity (why would she reject it) to make money LEGALLY in India what is the fuss about it when other actors fear IT raids cause they don't pay their taxes. As for her acting it is subjective I find her good like others find Kajol too loud and ott Aish too inexpressive Kat a pretty doll....after all it is about opinions....at least attack her with arguments not with despise or .........ism.

About 3 months watching Rubi, it's not like watching Kajol, Aish or whoever in a 2 hours movie .. so that's why I said she's been always Rubi to me .. altho that series was annoying, I was addicted to it .. still dont like her acting, some ppl think Kajol can't act, other think Aish can't and vise versa .. diff ppl diff opinions which is cool!
