Still dont think he should be judged, even if he's not aware. There's a huge possibility people are tweeting him asking his views on the matter. Rather than responding to each one separately, perhaps he felt it best to just post one collective tweet.

I still feel he was being honest, and its not the end of the world.

You feel so passionate about it because you associate it with patriotism. Perhaps his views are different.

well most of the times his tweets are for garning publicity ... even passing remarks to karan johar and sanjay leela bhansali, he gets news easily......so how are u sure tht he is honest this time😉...even the articles says the same for him...and the majority too...

and as for ONE MEMBER as you put it, why are you jumping on people's throat. Comment on the director guy (I have no idea who he is either) but leave the personal attacks, show that you truly are a lover. It's ruining the atmosphere on this forum when you single out people and call them ignorant. You are all passionate about politics then you should know that people should stand for the right things and fight against wrongs. I think it's wrong of you to call others ignorant. That's me showing activitism not just preaching it.

Guess what- if i were to ask you about some of the knowledge I have, you will not know about it all but I wont call you ignorant. Similarly you might possess knowledge I might not have. Should I test you on all world knowledge and call you ignorant when you don't get the right answers? The point Shee and others were trying to make is that they don't see the big deal if the director doesn't know who Anna is because they themselves don't know. While you may deem some things as important, others may not. Not everyone is has a similar perspective.

Sigh...I feel i just wasted 3 paragraphs for nothing because even after all of this you won't get it and retaliate with some personal attack. Go right ahead if that makes you happy. Don't expect an answer because I'm all for healthy discussion but this is leading nowhere.

ps. it would help your cause if instead of singling out people and demeaning them, you'd try to highlight Anna's achievements and/or state interesting facts about him.

As far as wikepedia goes, not everyone is motivated to research on something they don't know much about. There's so many competiting knowledge to acquire that we block out some in order to full grasp others. I am supposed to memorize some theory on perception for Psych in details for my next exam- plus bio, so many info coming at me at once.

If Neetu had highlighted some aspect of this man on this forum, it may give others interest and motivation to learn more about him. I think we are all capable of expending our energy on researching things but we allocate the energy on things we deem important at the moment.

I bet Ramu knows who Anna Kournikova is ;)
