i dont understand why ppl keep saying khas made all these actresses career. Rani, kajol , karishma , preity are all good actresses, khans took them in their movies caz they were successful and talented, it's not like they did them any favors or teach them how to act.They needed the actresses as much as the actresses needed them to make a successful movie.

and please enough of nara about Aish made her career without khans, it's not like she worked with small actors/directors and made movies successful with her acting. she has worked with bhansali movies , two of which with biggest khans and one with hrithik roshan who is a big star himself. Then she has worked with dhoom (yashraj), jodha akbar (hrithik and aushotosh), Guru (Mani Ratnam). each and every movie which is successful has big names attached to it, any small budget movie she did with less known actor has turned into BIG fat flops. So plz spare me with the same old Aish became famous on her own. she had the same amount of support and big names attached to her as all other actresses

At the end of the day , all actors and actresses need each other, no khans/roshans/kumars/bachchans are god to make other actresses career.

Why can I not quote! 😕 . But fine if you don't like I will not do it see I'm not doing it now. But you could just say it. What the reason to bring up Aish fans. It is discussion forum right, so I can say to people I don't agree with your opinion and give mine opinion or say it isn't a fact.

sweetcoco I did not say she was a bad actress, I said she was not the best. I said she is not as bad as some poeple say she is on here. I have seen a lot of members on here calling her bad actress, which I don't agree with!

And with Ravaan, I know she got some good reviews. But she also got some negative reviews...just like with PC in SKM. But with Aish, even the audience were saying all she did was scream.

I agree with you! I know she got mixed reviews so all I was saying was that both should be considered not just the bad ones and my point was that not everyone has the same taste or connection with characters and so some will love her acting and others will hate it. For example, Roger Ebert loved her in BP, but another critic from Time Magazine thought she wasn't Lizzy like at all...even the best critics can disagree....so it's all about what individual ppl like!

But I was saying in general that's she HAS proven she can act, but she's not always consistent...Commercial-wise! And also, if her films get good reviews, but aren't commercial successes doesn't necessarily mean she's a bad actress!

but i agree with u, all names mentioned apart from vidya have worked with Khan's before. ash & rani have their own ppl to back them as u mentioned.

someone else mentioned the rest are not even really that popular 😆 agreed. but they are still there cos they continue to make films i guess

tho would love to see SRK-Vidya pair soon 😳

I totally agree with bold parts! Good points!

My intention wasn't just to point out the negative reviews that Aish gets. I know that she gets good reviews also. Everyone does get mixed reviews. Even Vidya, who I think is a better actress than Aish, get's mixed reviews; eg in NOKJ. Rajeev Masand didn't like her at all. But what I observed was, Aish gets more negative reviews for her performance eg Ravaan and AR, than a lot of the other top actress esp bebo pc and Vidya in their films. Like for example, Kareena in KI, I thought she was not her best in that film, but I don't think critics were that harsh on her...which they should have trashed her lol

Lol which reviews did you read about Kareena peformance in KI, she was trashed by all 😃 But off course you are a fan of her... so you will see only the good... and say Aishwarya is critized more.. than Kareena.. when I say the opposite.. 😆 I'm still thinking which performance... of Kareena will be remember... yeah maybe Golmaal 2 and 3 .. but each it own thinking right?
