Come on... i don't think they promoted it in a wrong way... it was clear to everbody that it was a dark movie.. that is why a lot of people didn't turn up to watch it.. and that explains the bad opening.. anyways..i found the movie to a bit less depressing and dark.. than VB's ealier work like Kaminey and Omkara.. and lets say stuff like Dev D which was totally unwatchable for me after a point.. in front of those movies.. SKM was a candy floss romcom..

I don't find SD's comments credible or even believable anymore.. its the same old same old entertainment without substance which i totally hate.. 😆

i think the reason why ppl didnt go to watch it was coz of the bad reviews and also the adult rating (its rated 18+ in australia) , which limits the bracket of audience to a large extent. It also lacked star power to pull ppl to the theatres... kaminey and omkara were dark films too, but did relatively good business because of the word of mouth and the formerly mentioned factors...

Yes Pri's star power is questionable these days.. but the way i perceived it.. i don' t think the marketing decieved people into believing that this movie was a rom-com... the way SD is claiming.. that is why i thought it was very W*Fish of her to say that.. and we have seen dark movies from VB.. so no one was expecting anything lighthearted from him in the first place.
