to some fairly "new members" of the bollywood forum:

there are all kinds of ppl on this forum...cynics, fans, neutral members etc..and we all co-exist respecting each other's opinions most of the times. the sarcasm and humor needs to be taken with a pinch of salt rather than get all serious and riled up and term it as "hating" or "bashing" or what not. Im a fan too, and my fav celebrities often get criticized/mocked on this forum....not everyones gonna like the ppl u like...some ppl maybe a bit harsh with their words, but they do make valid arguments....if u cannot deal with them, then dunt post on a public forum.

please, atleast spare this forum of morbid, useless and personal fights.

As i have said earlier, i don't agree with everything Sonam says, but i do think she can act, i do enjoy her films and its refreshing to see a Bollywood actress into style and fashion that is more wearable than the usual crap sold to us onscreen.

I don't get why people just can't agree to disagree, and accept that there are people out there that do think she has talent. If you don't like her, move on and get over it, why keep bitching about it?

If we are "making fun of and mocking" Sonam, what is it to you? You can conviniently ignore all of our posts, you know? It's not that hard. Why did those other Sonam fans feel the need to get all personal and whatnot?

Also, just because you, as a fan, did not find that song funny, does not mean that everybody else didn't find it funny either. There were members who actually read about that song with sense of humor and had a good laugh. Just because a few faint-hearted fans cannot handle jokes, does that mean others having to stop having fun? No.

I think its quite obvious that when a topic like this is created and people continously post rude and unfair comments about a star, the fans will react and post their view point as well. Or is that not allowed?

I'll admit i don't usually post here, and logged on after a really long time because i wanted to counteract the comments made (and i was also bored), but i don't think at any stage i forced my forced my views onto anyone?

^ No, it is allowed. Everyone has different POVs, and there is nothing wrong with that. However, it does become a problem when those certain fans try to shove their opinions down other members' throats. That, I don't agree with.
