To answer your question: First obviously she got a chance because she was Karishma's sister! And she was a kapoor. Than she did refugee, and people loved her performance! After that she kept on doing crappy work, and directors will still offer her films.. well because she was karishma's sister and because she was a kapoor! And than critics starting bashing her for doing the same kind of roles...the Poo roles is what they called it! So to shut the critics mouth, she did CHameli. THan She did Omkara, than she did Dev, JWM ect...to show that she is here because she is talented not because she is a kapoor. Well, it paid off...she showed she can act!

So in conclusion, Kareena got a chance because she was a kapoor, but She survived all these years because of her hard work and talent. And her smart way of knowing how to stay in news!

PS what made me a fan of bebo, was when I saw her in K3G....tumhain koi haq nahi k - tum itni khoobsurat lago.......kon hai yeh, jis ne dubara mur ke mujhe nahii dekha. who is he? Loved it! 😆
