Why is fame so damn fickle in Bollywood? - Page 2

I totally don't get affected if my favorite gives a flop. Most of Kareena's best performances come as a flop: Chameli, Dev, Kurbaan, Asoka ect. So I appreciate these films more than her hits like Golmaal 3. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate her hits either, I just appreciate good performances more.

Does my face look as if I bloody give a damn about whether SRK, Kajol, Rani, Preity, Saif, Aamir, Kareena, Priyanka, Sonam, Deepika, Vidya, Salman and many other actors give A FLOP????????👎🏼 No......because you can't always have hits can you? I don't sit here and think awww SRK's film flopped or aww Kareena's film flopped etc etc 🤣🤣

flop effect only producers they dont like to invest on damage horse so dont give more time to think on this subject no actor care about producers money except Aamir Khan he always make sure his producer make some money that's why he not sing all film even he is holding lost of script

Jobs which have a high risk are always well paid. Look at how much some of these actors make- the GDP of a small town in India.

So the risk that they encouter for doing a job, that brings them massive adulation, fame inspite of majority of them not being good enough for the job is- everything is short lived. A couple of flops later you are no body.

Why just actors many people go through this- how about sports people?

coz life's tough baby....we all need to deal with it...not just actors...but ppl in every profession face this problem...as students, we have to maintain our good marks, else we risk losing a good job or an admission into a good uni...doctors need to maintain a good record...similarly corporate employees....everyone has ups and downs, flops and hits.... but the point is are they tough enough to endure both without losing focus....

Well hits determine how well the masses are attuned to a star, even if the movie is a multi-starrer.

I feel that the type of flop an actor has also affects their star power. If the flop is because the movie didn't gel with the masses even though the stars performed well (like Guzaarish or something) then its easier for the stars to bounce back. Now if the stars acted absolutely horribly when they should have mastered their craft better, then its much harder for them bounce back.

Ok here's the deal salman khan has been here for 2 decades and still very much a super star in his own right with a wide ranging appeal. Salman is probably one of the few superstars with a great number of flops and even though I love him he had done some pretty horrible films like kahin pyar na ho jaye and films like sooryavanshi - the kind of films even a die hard sallu fan like me couldn't endure however salman is still super famous, still popular and still in demand. So my point is with some
People like salman khan and maybe dharam ji fame is with them due to their mass appeal and connection.

Also in bollywood the actors fame lasts longer than actresses. With women a few duds and they r over looked for a fresh face but the men not so much.
