Aamir Khan gets candid

He says, "Being a celebrity, people look up to us, and I don't want to misguide them. That's why I choose my endorsements carefully." He speaks about his role as an ambassador, tourism in India, andDhobi Ghaat.

India's face

Aamir endorses Incredible India. "I am the brand ambassador of the country. I endorse a few brands and make sure that they are worth the consumer's money," he says.

Tourism

Aamir believes that India is one of the best places for tourism, as you have a lot of geographical diversity. "We have to advertise properly and tell people to check out India over an international destination," he says.

Freedom of speech

"An actor is a citizen of the country. He also has the right of freedom of ex-pression, just like other people," quips Aamir.

Endorsements

"The audience follows us, and it is our duty that we promote and endorse correct things. I will never endorse a cigarette brand because we know the ill-effects of smoking," says Aamir about his endorsements.

Future projects

Right now, I am only concentrating on Dhobi Ghaat.
