Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey had a disastrous weekend of around 3.50 crore nett. The film started with 1 crore nett on Friday and Saturday and Sunday were just slightly better.

The film is a horrific disaster as a major film has never seen collections this low for the weekend. Its probably the first time ever that a major film had show cancellations on the first day itself. Show Cancellations are a regular occurrence for films like Dus Tola and A Flat but it is not expected from a film like Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.

The weekend collections in Delhi/UP were just 60 lakhs and East Punjab only 25 lakhs. To put this into perspective is that a big theatrical failure like Break Ke Baad had the same collections on day one.

Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is likely to wrap its lifetime business at just 6 crore nett and a disastrous distributors share of less than 3 crore..

Yeah, yet another flop for Abhi. But honestly, I think everyone saw this coming. The film had no hype around it even though it seemed like a sensible/interesting film.

Or perhaps it's because everyone thought Aishwarya was in the film because I swear I saw her more than Deepika in the promotion pictures 😆

It was predictable that it wouldn't do well but not this low. Truthfully though, I didn't even hear about this film until a few days ago. The makers have only word of mouth to rely on now

that was quite predictable...

i've heard many people complain about the pace of the movie... how long was this movie...? ashutosh is known for stretching the length of the movie... bollywood really needs to consider shortening the length of the movies... people don't have the patience nowadays to sit through a long movie, especially if it is slow paced...

too bad all the ranbir-deepika break up publicity did not help the movie either... didn't know that break ke baad was also a failure at box office... mmmmmm....

cuz Deepika, herself, knew she wasn't a big part of the movie (and whoever has seen the movie can vouch for that). One of the main reasons why Asin declined the role. Deepika, perhaps, just wanted to add Ashutosh's name to her resume. Even during interviews Deepika would pick BKB over KHJJS cuz she definitely has more scope in BKB than KHJJS. I had lost all faith in this movie until one week before release when they started promoting it, together and then only the good articles abt the movie were publicized 😆

Feel sorry for the team of KHJJS. Ahh well😊

I dont know why they did not promote it , okay it could have done better than it did , i blame it on the crew of KHJJS! or whoever decides the promotion thing :)
